My fiancee is at his duty station in Quantico, VA, I was wondering does anyone know how many days they get for thanksgiving and Christmas?

It appears that the rumor about a compressed schedule was not true. At the moment it looks like those Marines will train through the holiday.

My Marine son said the ones in MCT have to stay through the holidays and he has to go straight to MOS afterwards, doesn't get to come home until after he finishes MOS. So now, it feels like bootcamp...

The only time that visiting is allowed at MCT is on the Sunday prior to graduation! The majority of their time is spent "out in the field" where civilians are not allowed to go!
